Where Gulf Meets Marsh
Last week I noticed there was a new box planted by Yertle located at Sea Rim SP. "BFF-Lilo & Stitch" is another box in the series that Yertle and Bulldogger have placed in different locations around our state. It has 5.2 miles of Gulf Coast Shoreline. This park is tucked away just north of Sabine Pass, Tx, and offers saltwater fishing, camping,canoeing/kayaking and offers a walk through the marsh where you are almost guaranteed to spot a gator or two. We saw lots of crabs taking advantage of the protected waters also. (no fishing or crabbing in this area)
We had previously visited the park in April with our Grandsons, and since this was a holiday week end, I decided to head down there with my LSS and stamp in. This park is tucked away just north of Sabine Pass, Tx, and offers saltwater fishing, camping,canoeing/kayaking and the walk through the marsh you are almost guaranteed to spot a gator or two. We saw lots of crabs taking advantage of the protected waters also. (no fishing or crabbing in this area)
We quickly checked in and headed over to the side of the park where the box was located. The box was easy to find, and the stamp was a nice carve. I was happy to have another stamp to add to my logbook.
