New Boxes!

I was finally able to get three new boxes planted. I had the stamps for quite some time and decided I better get them out so others could have the pleasure of stamping in them. The first one, Tres Cruces, Is at an old church in Nacogdoches that began under a tree in 1836. Recently, hurricane Rita destroyed the tree. They still have services there and it is really a neat place to visit and take pictures. It took quite a bit to get the clues written and only with the help of Lucy Locket was I able to finally finish them. I can't wait for emails saying it has been found.
My daughter-in-law had asked me to do a box near a golf course that was once owned by her grandparents. So we headed off to Frankston, where we found Pine Dunes Golf and Resort. We road around the entire golf course and she was able to tell me stories of her adventures. Stinky Monkey and Roarin' Lion were along for the ride. They were all very helpful finding a place to plant the box.
Next, we were on our way to a small community called Elmwood. Here you will find Elmwood Gardens, a wonderful garden where weddings and other events are held. There is a Butterfly Festival held each year. I can't wait to see the flowers in the spring. It was a wonderful day, and I was glad to get these boxes where they belong.
I hope they will be there for a long time and enjoyed by many LB'ers.
